THE BACHELOR IN DESIGN
The Bachelor in Design is a forward-looking, multidisciplinary degree that prepares students to design meaningful solutions for a rapidly changing world. Rooted in complementary design disciplines, the program develops the creative, technical and strategic capabilities needed to shape products, spaces and services.
Offered by the IE School of Architecture & Design, the program combines creative exploration with analytical and strategic thinking, a rigorous project-based methodology and a strong business perspective. Students learn to approach design as both a creative practice and a driver of innovation, addressing the physical, functional, emotional and social dimensions of today's challenges while working across disciplines and scales.Â
Alongside this broad foundation, students can choose to pursue an optional Diploma in Visual Communication, Product Design, Interior Design or Experience Design. These diplomas allow students to deepen their expertise in a specific area while maintaining the multidisciplinary perspective that defines the Bachelor in Design.Â
